Interactive and Immersive

We create interactive and immersive film-based exhibits for museums, galleries and festivals.

Hidden Histories (2016) tells the stories of characters from the history of Newcastle Castle. It includes three films and an original music composition which were exhibited in the castle’s visitor’s centre on an interactive display. In 2017, Hidden Histories won an award at the Historic England Angel Awards.

Ebb and Flow (2017) is a single channel video art piece that was co-commissioned with Berwick Film and Media Arts Festival. It played on loop in an old shoe shop on Berwick High Street for the full five days of the festival. Our filmmakers used the changing mood of the sea as a metaphor for changing human emotion.

Grace Darling (2018) is an interactive exhibit consisting of three films and an original music composition that tell the story of Grace Darling, who with her father, rescued nine passengers from a sinking ship off the Northumberland Coast in the 1800s. After exhibiting at the RNLI Grace Darling Museum, the exhibit went on a national tour of RNLI museums around the U.K.

Hyperdrive Hannah’s Cosmic Adventure (2019) was a partnership with Great North Museum and Kielder Observatory. Our filmmakers produced an immersive 180 degree (or ‘full dome’) filmic experience that premiered in the Great North Museum’s planetarium in November 2019. It was previewed at the British Association of Planetaria Conference 2019.
