Beacon Films is keen to work with partners and allies to make the screen industry a more inclusive place for disabled and neurodivergent people
1. Inclusive Screen Training
Are you a screen production organisation, commissioner or funder?
Do you want to increase the number of talented disabled professionals in both on and off-screen roles, and at all levels of your productions?
Beacon Films provide training & consultancy for funders, commissioners, and production companies.
Our introductory interactive workshops are designed and led by disabled, autistic and neurodivergent filmmakers.
Options and Prices:
1 - Introduction - £300 (VAT n/a)
45 minute 'quick fire' presentation introducing people to the considerations around making the screen workplace more inclusive for workers with disabilities.
2 - Essentials - £650 for 3hr course (VAT n/a)
3hr interactive course that covers the essentials of how to make the your screen sector organisation more inclusive for staff, freelancers and actors with disabilities.
3- Discover - £1300 for 3 hour course and follow up Action Learning Set (VAT n/a)
As ‘Essentials’ but with a follow up Action Learning session (approximately 1 month after the training)...
We will also soon be publishing details of scheduled sessions that individuals can sign up to at a lower ‘per person’ rate.

2. #WeShallNotBeRemoved Screen Industry Group
Several Beacon Films members and staff are members of the UK Disability Arts Alliance Screen Industry Group.
The group aims to increase the meaningful representation of disabled, autistic and neurodivergent people in the UK screen sectors.
