VIEWFINDER: The Story So Far
Click here to return to the main Viewfinder page
Supported by Spirit of 2012, Viewfinder supports filmmakers who have learning disabilities, autism and additional needs to work on their own and each other’s film projects, and then apply this experience to volunteer-filmmaking roles working alongside a creative partner. So far, our creative partners have included local charities, a hotel and restaurant run by people with autism, BBC Tours Newcastle and a local marketing agency.
These pages tell the story of the first three years of our Viewfinder programme (2015-2018)

In the Film Factories, Viewfinder members applied the skills they developed in the surgeries to a film made in partnership with an external organisation. Viewfinder members had to follow a brief and create a polished final result. Check out the films that we made below!
