Goals Mentor Job Opportunity



Are you a film, TV, or video production creative who is passionate about helping others succeed? Beacon Films is looking for a Screen Goals Mentor to support emerging Deaf, disabled, and/or neurodivergent screen creatives in North East England.

This role is a six-month, fixed-term contract with the potential to be extended. As a Screen Goals Mentor, you'll help up-and-coming creatives identify their career goals, create action plans, and navigate the challenges they may face in the industry. You'll also be a key part of two specific programs:

Focus First, a talent development initiative, and Focus Forward, which supports pathways into screen employment4.

This is a part-time position, working two days per week, with a pro rata annual salary of £27,9505. The total wage for the six-month contract is £5,590 before deductions6. Some home working is an option, but you'll primarily be based at the Beacon Films office in Byker, Newcastle7.

If you're interested, you'll need to have at least three years of experience in film, TV, or video production and excellent networking skills within the screen and broader arts sectors8.
